Anderson-Hines Scholarship

The Anderson-Hines Scholarship encourages matriculation to college and achievement in an academic area. Sponsored by Austin Kappa Educational Leadership Foundation, Inc. (AKELF), it is an annual award given to male student(s) in the Central Texas Area. The Anderson-Hines Scholarship is named for Marcellus Jack Anderson and Emory Wellington Hines, two charter members of the Austin Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

The Complete Application Packet must be received by April 14, 2017 (No exceptions).

NOTE: Please be available for an interview with the Austin Alumni Chapter’s Anderson-Hines Scholarship Committee, to review your application and essay, if requested. This year we are awarding five $1,000 scholarships and each award recipient will be notified by April 28, 2017.
